The Highlights 

Ashro Wellness has partnered with VDSH to handle our pharmacy and back-office services. Here's how to begin:

  1. Select Your Desired Service: Click the Book Now button.

  2. Create an account and place your order - You will be promoted to schedule a consultation. You will be charged for your service, if your total cost is higher than the initial charge you will receive a test message asking for approval to process the remainder of the payment. Your order cannot begin processing until full payment is received. ​

  3. Receive your medications to your home and begin your program. The system will alert you when you should be due for a refill. You will complete a form to request your refill. Every 3rd month you will do a medical consultation for continued use of your medications. 

The Specifics 

                         Basic Criteria for Weight Management Medications​

  1. Body Mass Index (BMI):

    • BMI must be 25 or higher to qualify for Semaglutide or Tirzepatide. If your BMI is between 22-25 you may qualify for our micro-dosing protocol. If your BMI is under 22, we have several Peptides that can help support your weight management goal. 

  2. Medical History: Your provider will review any underlying health conditions, previous weight loss attempts, and any medications you currently take to ensure there are no contraindications.​

    1. Exclusionary Medical History for Semaglutide/Tirzepatide through Ashro Wellness​

      1. History of allergy to desired medication ​

      2. Personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma

      3. History of Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Syndrome Type 2

      4. Type 1 Diabetes 

      5.  A1c over 8%

      6. Pregnancy and Breastfeeding 

    2. There are additional medical conditions that are not an absolute contraindication but may require some additional consideration before prescribing medication. These conditions include:

      1. History of Pancreatitis ​​

      2. Sever gastrointestinal disease

      3. Acute kidney injury

      4. Acute gallbladder disease

      5. Suicidal behavior and ideation

  The Consultation Process
  • The criteria above are the primary criteria to qualify for Semaglutide and Tirzepatide. We will review the above criteria and rule out exclusionary medical history during your consultation. 

  • During the consultation we will also:

    • Review your current metrics.

    • Confirm if you medically qualify for the specific medication you have selected.

    • Discuss the benefits and risks of the medication.

    • Place order for desired medication 

    • Provide education on best practices for success on your chosen service. ​​

      General Medication Highlights 
  1. Weight Loss Medications and Peptides: These are sent directly to your desired address with all the supplies you will need to complete the month.

  2. In general check-ins will be completed during the month to determine the best options for the follow month in terms of dosing. Medication reorders will be completed via form on the website.

  3. Your service can be discontinued at any time. Your card is kept on file through the VDSH app, however, it will only be charged after you complete you reorder form or after you initiate your consultation. At this time there are no automatic renewals. 

                                                      General Questions 

  1. How long do I need to be on these medications?
    The length of treatment varies and is specific to the individual. We will work together as a team to design a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.
     

  2. Can I use my Insurance benefits to cover my medications?
    At this time we do not able to accept insurance for any of the available services. 
     

  3. Can I use my FSA/HSA benefits to cover my medications?
    Your medications may be eligible for coverage with your FSA/HSA benefits. We accept all credit cards, as long as your card has a credit card logo it should be acceptable.  If you have questions about coverage you can check with your benefits administrator prior to placing your first order. 

  4. Where are my medications manufactured?
    The compounded medications for weight loss, and the peptides available on our site are compounded by pharmacies in the United States. The specific pharmacy your medication will come from depends on the medication ordered. During your consultation we can review the pharmacies that are currently filling the medication you are ordering.
